नई दिल्ली: उत्तर प्रदेश के खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं दवा प्रशासन (एफडीए) के अधिकारियों ने नेस्ले इंडिया से लोकप्रिय उत्पाद मैगी नूडल्स के एक बैच को बाजार से वापस लेने को कहा है। इस बैच में सीसे की उच्च मात्रा पाई गई।

कंपनी के प्रवक्ता ने इस बारे में की गई कॉल्स व ईमेल का जवाब नहीं दिया। उत्तर प्रदेश एफडीए के अधिकारियों ने कहा कि यह आदेश मैगी नूडल्स के 2014 के बैच के संदर्भ में है।

आदेश की पुष्टि करते हुए अतिरिक्त आयुक्त राम आर्य मौर्य ने कहा कि हमें जो भी कार्रवाई करनी थी, की गई है। मैं इससे ज्यादा कुछ नहीं कहना चाहता।

AC bus service begins from Indore for Rewa, Jabalpur



The Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) joined hands with the tourism department and started air-conditioned sleeper bus service between Indore and Rewa and Indore and Jabalpur from Saturday.

AICTSL officials said the buses will ply from the AICTSL headquarters on AB Road.

The bus, heading towards Rawa, will start at 5 pm and reach Rawa at around 9 am.

From Rawa, the bus will start at 5 pm and reach Indore at around 9 am. The fare will be `1,470.

The bus, heading towards Jabalpur, will start at 8 pm and reach Jabalpur at around 7 am.

Jaipur gets 10-year-old police chief for a day


Jaipur: Ten-year-old Girish Sharma wanted to be police commissioner and his dream came true today when he was made Jaipur Police Commissioner for a day. "A social organisation - Make-a-wish foundation - told us about the boy, who suffers a serious kidney ailment. He wants to become a police officer. The organisation requested to make him feel like a CP for a day. The wish was fulfilled today," Police Commissioner Janga Srinivas Rao said.

Clad in an IPS officer's uniform, Girish was saluted by police officers while entering the chamber and sat in the chair of the CP where he signed some documents too, he said. Police personnel gave him a guard of honour, he said, adding that he visited a local police station to know about the functioning of police. Girish, who belongs to Haryana and had been admitted to a local hospital for some time, said that he wanted to become a police officer.

"It felt nice. I want to catch thieves because they do wrong to the society," the 3rd standard student said. "We work to fulfil wishes of children who are suffering from serious illness. This gives joy to the child and their parents and also helps in treatment," Smita Shah, coordinator of Make-a-wish foundation said.
