Lets Get Started!
I am a huge fan of TEDx and TED talks. They have motivated me, pushed me to try harder and taught me things about myself that I would have never ever known otherwise. Here's a curated list of the best ones I've seen that might help you find your true calling and purpose in life.
These videos will get you at least a step closer to realizing your goals in life. They might take time to watch, but are worth it!
1. All it takes is 5 minutes of listening to your heart!
"When somebody asks you the question that 'what do you do?', you tell them how what you do changes the people you do it for."
2. Sometimes, passion can be overrated.
"I am leery of passion for a few reasons. But one of them is that passion is not a plan, it's a feeling. And feelings change. They do. You could be passionate about a person one day, a job and then not passionate the next."
3. There's way more to life than your resume!
"I don't believe anyone who tells me they don't know what they want to do. I believe they do know, they are just too afraid to speak it because then they have to do something about it."
4. Plans don't always work out. So it's okay to not have one.
"Failure makes it very easy to give up, and if failure strikes multiple times, it becomes even easier."
5. You might be one of those people with potential in multiple fields.
"What do you want to be when you grow up? See, while this questions inspire the kids to dream about what they could be, it does not inspire them to dream about all that they could be."
6. Probably the reason why you aren't where you want to be.
"It's that long-term procrastination has made them feel like a spectator, at times, in their own lives. The frustration is not that they couldn't achieve their dreams, it's that they weren't even able to start chasing them."
7. Positivity is crucial to success!
"If we can find a way to be positive in the present, then our brains work even more successfully as we're able to work harder, faster and more intelligently."
8. Everything you need to know about humanity, fame and love from the one and only SRK!
"I've learned that whatever moves you, whatever urges you to create, to build, whatever keeps you from failing, whatever helps you survive, is perhaps the oldest and the simplest emotion known to mankind, and that is - LOVE!"
9. What do you want to do before you die? Go find it, then do it!
"Two of the most valuable things we have are time and our relationships with other people. In our age of increasing distractions, it is more important than ever to find ways to maintain perspective and remember that life is brief and tender."
