Aamir Khan shares an inspiring post on World Mental Health Week


On the account of World Mental Health Week 2019, Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, took to social media and shared a post aiming to raise awareness about the importance of mental hygiene. Aamir has always been vocal on the subject and through this post, the actor brought an important topic like this to light.



In the post, Aamir claims that mental hygiene is as important as physical hygiene. The note which he shared reads, "Emotional hygiene is as important as physical hygiene. Being aware and sharing difficult emotions relieves stress. Physical exercise can also beat stress. Tackling it earlier prevents depression. Timely help works.” Earlier, many Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma have come out and spoken about their fight against depression and what helped them get through it.


On the work front, Aamir will next be seen opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in Lal Singh Chaddha, which is the Hindi remake of Tom Hanks 1994 hit Forrest Gump. The film is scheduled to go on floors in this month.
